Development of a lighting concept for Orléat
Project
Design of the town center
Orléat, France
Orléat is a commune centrally located in France in the Puy-de Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. In recent years, the area surrounding the heart of the commune, with its town hall, church and stores, has experienced the most development. During the planning of the town's design, the choice in terms of lighting fell on Line columns from Selux.
The aim of this lighting project was to design with the most discreet aesthetics possible - perfectly implemented with Line, as the light columns blend harmoniously into the landscape of the town. Their surface reflects the natural colors of the roofs and shutters of the church and surrounding buildings. Golden reflectors provide a high level of visual comfort and glare protection that complies with standards.
The Line columns, reduced to a minimum, reinforce the discreet aesthetics of the surroundings while adding a touch of modernity that creates the necessary balance.

Background
The design philosophy behind the Line is to radically reduce the complexity of a luminaire’s form by integrating the optics into a vertical line. The result: slim line luminaires that support a calm and clear urban landscape.
