Over the course of the last few months we have cre­ated a Selux book in order to offer an enjoy­able sen­sual and haptic expe­ri­ence as a coun­ter­point to dig­i­tal spheres. This has resulted in more than just a mere cat­a­logue. In it, we reflect how the dif­fer­ent demands made upon exter­nal light­ing such as sus­tain­abil­ity, safety and beauty may be com­bined with one another. We have inten­sively con­cerned our­selves with the rela­tion­ship between man and nature. The results are fas­ci­nat­ing per­cep­tions of the cul­ture of form and design, of man-made loca­tions in har­mony with nature and the related ques­tion of what con­sti­tutes sus­tain­able light.
